eMOD Safety App named among 7 Constructech 2021 Top Products

By eMOD Team

As we enter 2021, which promises to be a year of rapid digital transformation in construction, we’re delighted to share this news: The eMOD Safety App has been named among seven top technology solutions in Constructech magazine’s 2021 Top Products.

In a press release, Constructech staff wrote, “These awards recognize software, hardware, tools, equipment, and more, giving the ‘top’ technology designation to companies that have met criteria including a solid, underlying technology foundation and new innovative features to meet the ongoing needs of the construction industry.”

The eMOD Safety App, which was launched early in 2020 after being developed internally by team members at Dome Construction, was named a top “new” (less than 2 years old) solution in the commercial construction category.

“We’re thrilled and humbled,” said eMOD co-founder Kaitlin Frank. “We originally built the eMOD app because our team needed a comprehensive safety tool to help protect our workers and trade partners. To receive this validation is a tremendous honor for our extended team.”

Other recipients of the Constructech Top Products for 2021 include:

  • Buildertrend from Buildertrend
  • CoConstruct from CoConstruct
  • Explorer Eclipse from Explorer Software
  • Macrosynthetic Fiber Calculator App 2.0 from GCP Applied Technologies
  • McNeilus FLEX Controls from McNeilus
  • SpectraPave Online from Tensar

“Kudos to eMOD for bringing to fruition a comprehensive safety platform that facilitates and quantifies safety practices,”  said Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech. “Also impressive is its responsiveness in building key features that address the COVID-19 pandemic. Congratulations eMOD, a Constructech Top Products 2021 winner.”
